Asoke, Phetchaburi,  Rama 9 and Ratchadaphisek are areas, according to Knight Frank, where large amount of property development projects will be started in the coming years. The Asoke - Phetchaburi intersection is heavily developing with the Singha Complex of offices and retail space alongside resendtial project called The Esse - a high rise condominium project. Nearby inner-city development, the Makkasan Complex, will also have office towers, a condominium project, a hotel, retail area, conference centre, medical center and even an international school. “The Ratchadaphisek-Rama IX area will emerge as Bangkok’s new central business district. CentralPlaza Grand Raama IX, a mixed-use development, is situated on the corner of Ratchada-Rama IX Road on 73 rai. It will include the 125-storey, 615 metre Super Tower, which is slated to be the tallest building in Thailand. The tower will boast 320,000 sq. metres of space,” said Phanom Kanjanathiemthao, Managing Director of Knight Frank Thailand in his interview to "The Nation". CentralPlaza Grand Rama IX includes four buildings: G Tower, The 9th Towers, Unilever House as well as Belle Grand Rama 9. All these buildings together are one of Bangkok’s greaterst multi-functional developments. Another great development, The Makkasan Complex, is planned to cover an area of 200 rai (more than 79 acres). It's planned, for a great satisfaction, that 3 / 4 of this area to be reserved for a public park! The Makkasan Airport Link station will become a gateway between Bangkok and the Eastern Economic Corridor, providing high-speed railway transportation to all major airports - Don Mueang, Suvarnabhumi and U-tapao. After completion, Makkasan Airport Link station will all be connected directly to all 3 airports. After mving headquarters of AIA Tower to Ratchadaphisek road alongside the new Stock Exchange of Thailand, there are quite a few new development projects that are planned or under construction for new office buildings and residential projects. The Asoke - Phetachburi - Ratchadaphisek - Rama IX area will host numerious new real estate developemnt projects in near future to become one of the most developing areas of Bangkok specifically and Thailand in general.
